Mercury optimax

last night I talked with a tuffy salesman. We were talking about the Mercury Optimax 200. He told me "it will get better fuel milage than any four stroke out there". I do not know much about the four strokes, what do you guys think????:help:

My 225 opti on 193 Warrior gets about 15% better mpg than my F150 did on a 1890 Warrior. Hard to believe, but true!

My ONLY complaint with my 200HP Opti is the noise. Compared to the Verado, they're loud. The trade off is lighter weight and slighly better performance and fuel economy.
