LCX 27 update problem

I'm having problems updating my LCX 27 to update 2.40, I put the previous fix on last year with no problems. When I go to add the update to my SD card it says cannot copy over newer update. There's no other updates on this card as it is a new SD card. I tried other updates for different units with no probs. Am I doing something or is the LCX 27 update from Lowrance not working. The unit has 2.3 on it right now. Thanks

Try formating the SD card
Even though you deleted a update on the card. It might still see it

Still don't know why it didn't work the normal way but was able to save to computer then copy paste to SD card. Unit now updated. Thanks for the reply

I never had any luck with the Lowrance online installer

I always do it like you did, download it onto my hard drive and do it manually
