I bought the troll master 2 a few weeks ago, the unit comes with everything you need for an easy installation, including an instructional CD,
Well... not so simple for me I guess, I screwed up on the power hookup and connected the GREEN wire to Negative(-), long story short, fried the controller because of reversed polarity,
Called Bill at Topline Controls and told him what happened, he said to send the unit back and he'll take care of it,
I got it back yesterday(within a week) all fixed up and NO CHARGE! including the return shipping(to Canada)
Now that's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Note to self: Always read the instructions you dumb air conditioning mechanic no matter how simple it looks.....and GREEN is NOT ALWAYS ground.

Nope- this product isn't wired to comply with the Standard Electrical Code. :)

The on-line installation manual is very clear that green goes to +12V and the black wire goes to ground. When I installed mine- I felt the black/green wire combo was a very good signal to look carefully at the instructions before proceeding. I do think red/black wire colors would confuse fewer people.
