Nissan Kicker 9.8

Just curious if anybody has had any experience with these motor as kickers, thinking about putting one my 1900 Pro V.

Does the engine come with a large-diameter propellor, like the Merc Pro series or the Yamaha T-8? If not, you'll have trouble backtrolling.
Really, look at those two engines for comparison.

Don't know about the 9.9 but the 8 hp works good as a kicker on a 16 ft. Alumacraft.

I have the Nissan 9.8 on my 1850 Fish hawk. I added it just last year but it starts easy and runs fine. I have no complaints. My only criticism would be the wireform used to stow the motor. It doesn't appear to be very beefy, and in the owners manual they tell you to use a transom saver when towing. So far I've had no problems though.
