does zercom sell accesories for the colorpoint to be hooked up to the trolling motor? i had an old LCF on there but i had to give it back to my brother. so any of you use your colorpoint on your boat? i was wondering about the interference being a problem also.
thanks

Used my colorpoint on the trolling motor all last year with no problems. They make a transducer for this purpose.

I bought a transducer for the bow mount through Reed's last yr. Wasn't in the catalog & I had to ask. Less than $50, if I remember correctly, it might have been $39.00
I didn't care for the display size and manual scale changes when depths changed. I'd still suggest you try it, some guys think it's fine.
Not very knowledgeable in regards to interference but everything I've seen suggests your transducers must be 50 kz apart to avoid this, otherwise when the cones intersect you will have interference. Should be an non-issue in the depths you'd need a bowmount finder? I believe the colorpoint is 150 Kz, many others are 192 Kz.
In practice, I had an irritating amount of interference between an lms 350 & the colorpoint, even when I was in shallow water. I suspect this may have been associated with my wiring but ??. I don't remember if I ever tried it using the ice fishing battery. I switched to a low end eagle lcd/gps combo on the bow, direct wired everything and only see a small amt of interference.
