did very well wed on big lake...i was the first boat out of ditch i think and went to gary light/landfill...there was one boat there casting but i dont think they were doing well, didnt see them catch much....i began trolling and would catch about one fish per pass....the best spot was the oval between the lighthouse and ship canal sort of out in the middle of the bay....mike, well i lost another one of those expensive lures...it disassembled in the net!.....the chub color was hottest as the water even in that sheltered area was somewhat murky the back end of the lure just split apart so i'm hoping they may take it back as defective.....it was a lot of fun and several other boats were fishing when i left...if footdoc sees this thread, i also caught one nice coho on my trick i taught you last yr using the jig and twister tail.....when i headed back there were three boats fishing the ditch area and not one fish caught between them..so i sent them packing and hope they did well..steve

steve

I was out there on tuesday, March 31st, I also had some friends out there Wednesday, April 8th in the afternoon.

We did well last Tuesday casting. Yesterday, the trolling bite covered more water to find fish. Both days we were with a very good guide.

If you need a fishing partner to help with the fuel cost, I can be available.

Tight lines,

Bill

I forgot to tell ya about the down side of those lures and the fiesty cohos, they can tear up the back end pretty good when the cohos have a twisting fit.
Two ways to handle it.

1) Save up a few and send them in for a replacements.

2) Or if your lazy like me, I use some 5 min. epoxy on the back end when they get torn up and they still catch fish.

See ya on the water.
