I have used many GPS units (including airplanes - Garmin) and own a Garmin hand-held and Lowrance LMS 350 but would like some opinions on what a good replacement would be for the LMS 350 that has WAAS capabilities. I just bought a Genetron and will be replacing the 350 but now need a new GPS unit.

Late last summer I got a Standard Horizon 170C GPS -- fixed mount unit with dual C-Map NT slots to replace my Magellan 6000 hand held on the boat. They make two monochrome units too -- 150 and 160.

In two months of use I was very pleased with the unit. Great feature set and easy to use. I have seen the 150 for less than $400 and nothing else with WAAS comes close.
