Just wondered if anyone out there has a strong opinion about which unit to buy for accurate speed and temp at the ball. The Subtroll 900 from Moor seems to be a better value based on function for price, but there seem to be a lot more Fish Hawk 840's out there.

What do you guys think?

I had fished on boats with both units prior to purchasing mine. My decision was not made on performance, since they both seemed to do the job. I bought the Sub-Troll because I didn't want to put another transducer on my boat. It has done the job and I have two less holes. I'm rigging a new bpat so, I'm not sure what I'll do with this one. If I keep my 4 Big Jons I'll keep the ST-900. If I get new riggers I may look at the Fish Hawk.
