What is the difference between SS props. The local dealer says the ones in the magazines will posibably ruin your lower unit.
They are $250.00 and the ones he selling are $400.00 to $500.00.Is there a difference. Will be on a 150 Yamaha.
This ones for you Tmac, your a dealer.

Hey Guide
Ill bite on this one.Im in the marine bussiness and my quest for a number of years has been, to take those tin cans, and make them run as fast as they can. Ask anyone that knows me, I can make them run. There are lots of different stainless props out there. No the after market props wont ruin your lower unit. There are many vairables that make stainless different from one another.Theres blade design, the amount of cup put in the blade, the porting or vents around the barrell for hole shot, the diameter of the blade. My question to you is what are you running it on and what do you want to accomplish? That would be a big help in telling you whether you need a 300.00 prop or a 700.00 prop.Fill us in a little more and Ill see if I can help. Good luck P.J.
