Recently purchased this unit for use on my aluminium boat. Could not get it to mark fish. I had a good bottom reading though. Company had me send it back and they replaced the unit. Also gave me a new transducer. Still having the same problem - No fish arch. Sending the unit back tomorrow. Company said they will boat test it.

Anybody else have problems with this unit? I have raised and lowered the transducer and changed the angle of the transducer. My other locator marks fish but not the LPG 2000. I have shut the other unit off so it would not interfere. No other electronics are connected to my battery. Two stroke motor. Any suggestions.

after discovering both units in my boat showed me fish- that were'nt there I bought a X-85. Boy was I disapointed when I realized there are not that many fish in my lake! You really have to search to find fish and learn to read fish on the bottom. I love my X-85 and I know when i'm on fish!!

Sorry to hear of your problems. I really don't have an answer for you. I would just like to confirm that the LPG2000 does sn excellent job of marking fish. I have two on my boat and both of them show everything from bait to monsters. Please don't give up on the unit. There could be something wrong with the unit itself, or your other sonar could be lying to you. I would go with the second choice.

Good Luck getting to the bottom of things and remember, Keep the line tight.
