Has anyone ever posted things here, and then wished they hadn't?

Yepper...;-) I think it happens to everyone sooner or later. It's just registered users that regret it when it happens though.
But, since registered users NOW have the ability to go back and edit responses, it doesn't happen quite as often.

I've scewed up a few posts. When I do I hit the alert and ask for to be removed. The board managers make it vanish quicky. This is one heck of a great site, I started visiting W.C. in 1995-96 when the message board was slower but the chatroom was always full. Many of long nites online at W.C. with loads of humor and story's, shucks I'm getting mushy now....

That is just flat out not true. That statement is one that you might want to edit. How would you know if a guest user ever regrets posting something since you are not a guest user?

I'm pretty sure (and I don't want to speak for anyone else here, but...) that what she meant by that is that as a registered user, her profile is accessible (and from what I read, she is a monster walleye champ, hence she may be more attuned to saying what she means and vice-versa since she is looked upon as an authority, at least by me and I would venture by a vast majority here, on this site)whereas a guest user isn't, and since that is the difference between the two groups, she or anyone for that matter, will probably be more aware of what he or she says. If a person is anonymous, it may not matter as much because what they say can't be attributed to them personally. By saying that, I'm not saying that guest users as a whole do not take care in what they say. There are a lot of very conscientious guest users here. It's just that it's far easier to say something stupid and not have it associated with you personally as a guest user. Fortunately, I say stupid things all the time and people come to know me that way so it isn't that big of a surprise. The important thing here is not whether or not you are registered, it's that you contribute in a positive way be it through questions or answers. Negativism will get you nowhere in this group which is the big reason I continue to come to this site to learn more and more. I'm as green as it gets in the walleye world, but I still feel like I can contribute in some small positive way.

Yea, if you'll check my edit, I wasn't sure who made the original post so I checked after typing and edited. See? Perfect example of doing something stupid
