I put my new Lund in the water for the first time this afternoon at Genoa on the Mississippi. I didn'thave time to fish today, but there were several boats fishing out there today. The walleyes are heating up.
Good Luck.

well I don't know where you're at, but here in northern Mn. the lakes are still hard and we can't fish walleyes until the middle of May so I'd appreciate it if you would refrain from teasing the unfortunate ones such as myself.;)

Jimmy,
Genoa, Wisconsin....on the Mississippi River. Excellent fishery and the Walleye/Sauger fishing is great with the Sauger sometimes outshining the 'eyes. Not unusual to have a limit of saugers between 18 and 20 inches....I'm not recommending you keep this many ladies, but it isn't unusual to catch that many!!
The killer jigs are made locally I do believe......great jig....a a flattened body with a bucktail/maribou combo and a stinger hook. Joanie's Jigs in Rollingstone may be one of the suppliers, but then, I haven't bought too many in the past several years - bought a bunch of cards when a local store went under....
Sunday.....my son and I kept 8 'eyes between 16 and 19.75 inches...dropped back over 10 fish over the 20-inch mark. Biggest was around 27 inches.

Ethel,
Is this the Ethel Long that used to run the Bait Shed in Winona? If so, I can stop in with a card from Killer's to help out the new owners. Are the new owners relatives of yours?
