The bite was very good there two weeks ago, Fire-Ball jigs that had some orange or chartreuse tipped with minnows or Power Minnows. When they ran water the bite was best.
Let us know how you do.

Chamberlain So. Dak....Running water and wind are the key to numbers of fish..They can be shallow in 4 to 14 feet.. Use a 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig head, and power bait 3 '' grub or gulp minnow...The bite is often deep so try a standup fireball with a minnow or a Roach Rig on a dead stick rod with a minnow..18 to 28' is deep. If the wind lets you fish north of Kiowa flat along the bluffs for starters.. A split shot ., gold hook, and minnow can be deadly when drifting. Good Luck
