Any one have any opinions on this boat. I am considering buying a 2007 with a 115 Etech. Any opinions would be great. Thanks

1760 is a great boat, about the only thing that the pre-2009 models have against them is that the new ones are now rated for 150's. Take that into consideration - the older ones cannot be "re-rated" and not being able to take a 150 will be a negative to their resale.
If you can buy it right, go for it - it's a great boat and motor!

Thanks, they are offering me a good trade on my current boat and good pricing on the 1760. I appreciate the input. If anyone has any other opinions please post.

can't tell you much about the Etech, but the boat is sweet.
If it tickles your fancy, and is within your budget...get it.
I love my Etec!! Quiet, great performance, easy on fuel and hardly uses oil compared to previous motors! You can't let go of the key fast enough to start them, no matter what the temp! And the winterization feature is awesome. That should be a decent performer. If I remember right around 40mph with that setup. My dad was looking at one and I seem to remember that number. Good luck!

Look at the 130 E-Tec. Good power, around 40mph and less cost than the 150 for that package. Unless you need the speed then by all means go for the 150!!!

Does Etec make a 130HO or only a 115HO?

I had the exact same boat ,was pretty good. Did about 40 with 3guys on board and handled rough water pretty well. The one big drawback for me was lack of storage. I'd still have it but the wife ok'd my dream rig--Ranger 620vs.... WOOHOO!!!!:phatyo:

THey don't make a 130 HO but do make a 130
Still a v-4 engine so lighter and less money than a comparable v-6 of closest hp class
