a GPS/Depth finder.

My ETEC I have connected to my Lowrance so I didn't have to buy the I-Command gauges.

Is the Merc Pro XS 250 able to do this? In other words is the motor NEMA 2000 compatible.

No, they have proprietary software called smartcraft. This softaware is not caompatable with the Lowrance units.
Also be aware that you can set your fuel level source to be from the engine computer (EMM). This allows accuracy to nearly a 1/2 gal on 50 gal of fuel burned. No more "hoping" the fuel gauge is "close"!!
