Anyone have a picture of a terrove on a navigator? I am about to mount my Terrova and I just cant commit to a location. Dont like it sitting on the bow cap but.

I don't think I can help you with that one. I have a maxxum pro up front on mine. However, I know what you mean about the bow cap - it is definitely in the way! I do have more pictures and I will take some with the trolling motor off. That way you can see where I mounted the quick release puck. Maybe the Terrova would be similar if you had the puck mount too??? I used an extra spacer to lift the mount so that when the motor is mounted is slips right over the bow cap. I have a bit of flex when I am at maximum thrust, but not very much at all.

I will have pics on the site tonight.

Two bear,
Why don't you mount it as was done for the Alumacraft Navigator factory pictures?

I have mine mounted exactly like in the link from REW, with the shaft deploying slightly behind and away from the side of the bow casting. I got it up nice and close without actually touching.

I actually was searching for pictures and ideas for the last week or so. I was at my desk today and found the Alumacraft brochure in my desk drawer under some other papers. How stupid am I , I looked at the brochure 100 times before I bought this boat a couple weeks ago and never thought about it for the mounting ideas. I looked at it today and there it was . Went to the shop and mounted exactly as shown in the pic.

Glad to hear you got the Terrova mounted. I didn't think of the brochure either - that looks perfect! I have the Maxxum Pro, so I wanted to mount it right along one of the gunnels so that I could secure it to the gunnel for transport and in rough water. If I ever have the chance to uncover the boat when it is not pouring rain or pitch black out I will have more pictures in my album. I'm sorry about the lack of pictures. I know I said they would be in there this weekend, but life has had a different set of plans for me. I'll let you know when they are there so that you can see the rest of my setup.
