RAM mounts

Need to mount my X85 and need to know if the RAM mounts are worth it?

Absolutely! They are better than the Johnny Ray type mounts since they allow adjustment in both vertical and horizontal directions at one time. they also offer some cushioning effect since the ball is coated with a rubber compound.

I really think that they are worth it. Hold my 7520 solid as a rock. Like the adjustability.

Just mounted an X85 with a Ram last week. The only way to go.

I've got a couple on my boat and love them. Very adjustable and easy to install. Makes quick work of removing the electronics from the boat too.

R-A-M is the best mounting system out there. Anyone who tells you differently has never tried one! I've had them on my last two boats and wouldn't use anything else. Yes, they are more expensive, but they're worth it.
