Got a chance to meet fellow WC'ers ebijack and Heavy Duty at my first DWF meeting last month, and would like to put a few more faces together with names at tonight's meeting. Anyone else (perchjerker, eyebuster, RayChamp, Tom(mich), others?) going to be in attendance tonight?

If we can set a specific time and place to meet, that might help given the large crowd that will be there. Otherwise, I'll be wearing my white WalleyeCentral pullover shirt. Stop by and say hi, and maybe we can make plans to meet on the water this spring.

Homer,

I'll be there tonight, let me know about meeting up or I'll be there about 7:00pm I'll have on a Lund sweatshirt. Did I read somewhere that you are from New Boston originally and now live in Saline? And if so did you go to Huron High?

I'm not a member, but have considered joining in the past. Where are the meetings? Can I join by just showing up at one?

Getting there early is a good idea, I made the mistake last week of showing up at 7:30. Not sure I can make it by 7:00 tonight, but pretty close. I'll look for you.

And, yes, Huron High - Class of '76.

The meetings are in Trenton, near the High School off of West Rd. There's a map at dwfonline.com. Having been a member for all of one month, I don't know if you can join at the meeting (suspect you can), but do know that visitors are welcome. Let us know if you're going so we can meet up.

Tom,

The meetings are in trenton on westvale, just north of west rd. and yes you can join at the meeting. We're getting a pretty good number of W/Cers joining the DWF. The meetings pretty informative and they have good speakers, tonights speaker is Jim Barta, local guide on the river and a darn good fisherman. His specialty is jigging. The meeting start around 7:30 I like to get there a little early to check out the stuff they raffle off during the meeting. If you can stop by some of us will be there. One more thing, go to dwfonline and there is a map to the meeting.

I made a deal with my better half...I was going to play hooky and go, but we agreed that the money I make tonight I will put into my fishing (not like I already dont!)

So I will be missing it again, but this should be the last one. This is getting old...

Ok, I think I can go tonight, but I cannot find the map on their web site. Anyone have an address, or at least the name of the building?

Tom,

The address is 2700 Westfield Rd. It's approx. 1 mile west of Fort st. off of West Rd. in Trenton it's between allen and fort.

Hey buddy. Take the west road exit off of I75, go east maybe 2 -3 miles. You will see Trenton High School and the Library on your left. I am pretty sure there is a light there. Hang a left, go about a block, its on your left. You cant miss it. They are all new buildings, really nice.

Hey, I might leave work for a few hours and make it. Look for a 6'5" bearded guy with a red parka sportin a black Reef Runner hat!! Should be sitting at one of the tables up front, with a big yap!! LOL

Man, I love this site! Ok, I'm there and I'm bringing along my tournament partner. We'll plan on joining tonight and I'll get there around 7:00 or so. I'll wear a tan Michigan Walleye Tour t-shirt.

Mitch:

If you made the drive all the way from Fort Wayne, I would never, *ever* whine again about the length of the drive from Saline to Trenton (a little less than an hour) for the monthly meetings. :-)

I didn't get a chance to read this post until tonight because I was tied up at work. I did make the meeting for the firs time I sure wish I would have be able to meet some of you. I was sitting at the last table next to the entrance door. It was really packed. Only one I know is Jim Barta because I chartered with him a few times. If work permits, I will be their next month.
