Well, my wife would like to get a bigger boat (gotta love her!), so it's time to sell our beloved 17' Lund Pro Sport/Suzuki DF115. This was my dream rig but our family and friends keep having kids so it's time for more capacity. ;) The Suzuki has been bullet proof, super quiet, and very fuel efficient. My question is this...have you that are running 150/175 Suzuki 4-strokes having as good of an experience as I've had with the 115? Any problems? Thanks for your input.

A good fishing partner of mine has had a 150 for 2 or 3 full seasons. He runs her hard and hasnt had a hiccup at all.

I'm on my second season with the 175. If the decision came around again, I wouldn't hesitate one bit about purchasing this motor. So far, I have nothing but positive things to say about this engine.

Here is what many Zuke owners think about their motors:

I am on my third season with a Suzuki DF175. It is a quiet, powerful, and reliable motor. My next boat will have one as well.

When I was purchasing I wanted a four stroke and wanted either a Mercury, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Yamaha was ruled out because they didn't have a four stroke 175 and the Mercury Verado was to $$$. The final deciding factor was every dealer (many who sold all three brands) I spoke with noted the reliability of the Suzuki.
