We're heading up there tonight, and wondered if there's any info on what they've been hitting.
Will post our results.
Catch ya later,

Heard opening weekend was a little slow for Oneidas standard.
Friends did catch limits trolling, or jigging very slow, and barily moving there jigs.
We will be running a walleye tournament there on Sunday June 14th.

The tournament will be the 4 Annual N.E.W.C. Summer Open.
Entry is $260.00 and includes everything.
We will be launching on Sunday June 14th out of Oneida Shores. Great ramp inside the park.
You can download the entry form from our website at www.neweasternwalleyecircuit.com.
This is a great event, and this years will see a record turnout.
I am finalizing things this coming week with sponsors, then I will post a news release on the tournament page.
Hope you are able to participate.

Well, we fished from 8:30 pm on Friday til 3:30 Saturday morning, and did not catch a walleye. There were some storms moving through, and it got a little choppy at times, but much of the time we had great conditions. Tried trolling and drifting near the south shore (in both directions from the south shore launch), but no luck. We used Thundersticks, various shallow and deep diving cranks, spinner with leech, and even drifted a worm under a lighted bobber, but no takers.
Next time we do this I think I'd rather try the north shore, just for ease of staying in a consistent depth and not having so many obstacles, but we're still trying to figure out what we didn't do right...
Hope y'all had better luck than we did this weekend!
