Help setting up Lowrance HDS Network

I just installed two HDS 7 units (bow & console) with eithernet and nema2000 network cables and am having problems getting it all set up. All the devices show up on both units but I can't seem to select each unit as a local unit. Which ever unit I select on one display also shows up on the other display. What I am trying to do is have each unit show data from its transducer with the option to select the bow unit from the console or the console unit from the bow if I so desire. I would also like to have a spilt screen of each like I could with my Pinpoints, but I understand that is not possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the HDS units but on the previous generation you need to display the sonar screen and hit menu. At the very bottom of the menu screen will be an option to select sonar transducer source. It is only there if both units are on. You can then select either the units transducer or the other one.
