The new Uncle Josh Baitfish Trolling weights, has anyone been tinkering with them and if so, with what results?

They are preaty interesting and look like a flexible application rig to me.
Any feedback and or recommendations on use?
Thanks,

I picked up the Bass Pro models
Because there's a dive curve in the Pro precision trolling book for them
They are nice looking
But I sanded 4 down and painted them flat black
It should be interesting to see if the Walleye like the pretty painted weights or the flat black ones in front of the spinners.
I know the colored dipsy's scare more fish then the clear or black dipsy's do

Put a spinner out front of the nose with a bead or three, then a small swivel in front of the blade - and you have a Teazer. For best results also put a small treble hook on the back attachment point. Then again all you have to do is buy something similar - already made and balanced they way you need. If done right, the small treble acts as a keel, and the swivel out front virtually eliminates all line twist. Saw some of these once not to long ago - forgot who makes em.

I've been kinda wondering how they may work on boards set wide with slow wobble'n cranks in tow, for spooky suspended walleye on big water....with consistent depth basins.

Yes, put a treble hook on the back. I used the BPS P&K keel weights and was trolling Lake Michigan for steelhead and kept getting hits and no hook-ups. I finally figured out from the way the line jumped that the fish were hitting the sinker!

Rednek outfitters, made in ohio, have similar weights with a treble hook attached on the bottom. I have tried to use a spinner in front of these style weights and when the line attaches at the top the line is to verticle for the blades to consistently spin.
