Minnesota UGLY Stickers for Boat License

I just renewed my boat license. The new stickers (dried blood red, computer block numbers, and the size) would win any ugly sticker contest hands down. The DNR must be retaliating for the ice fishing court decision. I'm writing the DNR and asking them to design something a little more appealing. They must think we run a bunch of jon-boats or something.

SD has a nice puke yellow 3 year sticker this year. It will look great on my new white lund. Can't wait....

TGG, those are the new ones generated by our fine ELS system. They are the worst looking stickers yet. The DNR will change the color of the paper each year, but the system will remain. ISH....Has to be the worst program ever. (Those guys at the DNR just love me!)

All in the name of efficiency and economics.

The real question will be how long will they last on the boat before they peel off like the snowmobile stickers did. Your cost to replace when it happens, too. Hrumf!

I agree with all of the ugly, regardless of boat color. But those of us who have 'jon boats' (regardless of what state our stickers are from) may be incensed. Are we a lower class citizen? How about we also have real walleye boats in addition?

Be surprised at the little lakes in WI without good ramps the little guys fit into.

Just venting. In any case you are right about the b### ugly!!
