I have a LMS 350A with GPS will the GPS antenna work for the X-15?

Reelsmooth, I'v just purchased a x-15 and reeds told me I would have to install the antenna for the x-15 as my other antenna that I used for my global 2000 and before that my 350a wouldn't work. Fact is I'v been out in the garage this afernoon installing the new unit.Left my old antenna on incase I should want to move my old gps to the front. Hope this helps. Good fishing

Depends, Which antenna do you have? The LCG-1 will not work. If you have the new 12 channel antenna with the large grey connector, it will work. If you had the update on your 350-A it should be compatible with the 12 channel antenna. So it depends on when you bought your GPS antenna and which model it is.

Just remember if you want the WAAS system you WILL have to buy a new antenna. I am not sure of the model number, but it ends with a 12W.

Thanks for the info, I have another question. How can I find out if I have the LCG-1 or the new 12 channel. I can not find the molel number on my unit just a serial #.

You can call Lowrance customer service at 1-800-324-1356 with your serial number and they should be able to help. I have found these folks to be very helpful any time I have a question.

The antenna for the 5 channel is rectangular in shape. The one for the 12 channel is round, about the size of a hockey puck. Mine has 12s on the box.

The earlier version of the 12 channel receiver,LGC-12 will not work with the X-15. The newer version receiver, LGC12S will.

This is correct! the new style, LCG-12S has the large grey connector. It is the same connector that my LMS-350A uses. I am currentaly using LCG-12S with my LMS-350A.

Just remember that in order to use the 12 channel antenna with the LMS-350A, you must have the updated version of the software!

Does anyone know if the new WAAS LCG-12W antenna will work with the old LMS 350-A?
