I am about to throw my latest suick in the garbage. It will go dead left, (my left) everytime that I give it a pull. It doesn't matter if it is a hard tug, or a soft one. I have tried to make the fin on the back bent a lot and straight, one side flat, one side bent, the other, I have played and played with the tail.
I have had other suicks and have not had this problem. Maybe this is just a bad one in the batch. Kinda sucks when you spend good money on a lure.
It is a 9" weighted.

How old is the lure, can't you take it back if it was recently purchased and doesn't have teeth marks all over it ?

bend of the eye of the bait instead of the tail. if it pulls left, bend it right. use small adjustments and it should come around for you. don't just turn the eye..you should try bending the eye itself. needle nose pliers work the best.

J-Man has it right. Don't throw that Suick out.....bend the eye. It will come around...just work with it.

Also, take a look at the eyes for the hooks, they may be crooked and this will affect how the bait runs as well.
