Do any of yoy Erie folk have some advice for which Reef Runners to get. Looks Like we are going to be fishing around Kelleys Island on the middle of April. What colors should I get.

Eriedescent, Rainbow Trout, Cold Clown, Bubble Gum, Copperhead, Watermellon, Mud Minnow, Shrimp, Blue Hawaian, Blue Berry Muffin & Purple Demon will give you a good start. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. Do you like the deep divers, or the Rip Sticks with lead core or snap wieghts.
I like em all; but there and then you shouldn't need weight assitance of any kind (unless you put a snap wt. close to a stick bait to get somw verticle swim). If you are a leadcore nut, bring it, but it'll probably not be needed. I'd have Rips and Reef Runners both and be ready to run mono or superbraid. Good luck!!

Mike,
Last April we did well with Orange Juice, Orange Peel, and Purple Demon. Run some of them high 6 to 10 feet, even if you don't mark them on your graph. We took some of our biggest eye's on high baits.

All good ones mentioned so far. Two others I wouldn't leave the dock without are Confusion and Fried Chicken.

Some of these colors you have mentioned I have never seen in WI. The colors are Blue Hawaiian, Copperhead, Orange Peel, and Confusion. Do they make these colors in the deep little ripper? Where can I see pictures of these lures and also where can I order them? Thanks

Some of these colors are custom colors. You can get any reef runner from Denny Braun at the Sportsman's Outpost in Vermillion, OH as well as some great advice. Call Den on 888 855 9032.
