What knot do you tie when attaching mono line to the leadcore ?
Is there a diagram for it on the 'net. Thanks for your help

King,
There have been numerous threads on Leadcore lately. Check back a few pages and on the archives. As far as a website for joining leadcore and mono I don't know. I usually use a #12 barrel swivel to join the two. Strip the dacron back a bit, cut the excess lead and use the dacron to tie to swivlel. Hope this helps.

I just got done doing this. I will try to describe it the best I can.
Step One: Romove the lead from about three to four inces of the end of the lead core.
Step two: Thread your leader (what ever it may be mono or Fire Line) into the empty part of the lead core until it hits the lead.
Step three: Tie an over hand knot in the area where the two lines are one inside the other.
Step four: Move down about an inch and tie another over hand knot as in step three.
There you have it. This works very well with short leaders. It does work with longer leads, it just gets complicated tying the overhand knots.
