Lowrance Hard Reset Instructions Please

I have seen posts talk about doing a hard reset on Lowrance units to fix issues. I would appreciate if someone could post the instruction on how to do this.

My LCX 112 has suddenly decided to give a poor/ faint bottom signal and I don't know why. I was hoping maybe a this hard reset may help.

Soft Reset for LCX 112C (Does not delete GPS Data)

1. Turn unit OFF
2. Press and hold the PAGES key
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears

Hard Reset for LCX 112CX (Deletes stored GPS Data such as Waypoints and trails)

1. Turn unit OFF
2. Press and hold the ZIN & ZOUT Keys at the same time
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears

You can find this stuff by searching for product resets on the Lowrance web site.

Make sure you have the latest software.
They did fix the shallow water issue last year:stirthepot:.
