The Renoskys are awesome! Run em any way you run anything else.. dipsies, planer boards. leadcore or snap weights. Check around your area Dicks Sports stores for them. Gander Mt in Erie Pa should have them also. The company # is 800-342-2803 and get a catalog and order right from the company. Walleye Central lists the new glow patterns under products. Not sure they will eventualy list the others also.

The colors that have worked on the east end are:
1. purple/pink
2. Emerald shiner
3. Wonderbread
4. Perch
5. Rainbow

Fred,
did you ever look at the lakemaster map of erie? Let me know what you think. Ordered Renosky's should have them in time for May night fishing. Talk to you later. JJ

John.. I just glanced at it. Isn't that for the Lowrance units? The new gps may be to the back burner this season, working on getting the bosses ok for a new rig, don't quite have the nerve to tell her I want a new gps to go along with the new Diawa lc's!

Fred,
As far a Lowance is concerned they don't work yet with their units. I have the Lakemaster Maps so I can find and mark spots than transfer them to my handheld unit. Hopefully so Lowance will have these maps on mmc cards. I feel these are the most detailed maps out there now. I also have the mapcreate maps from lowrance but don't like the detail on them. Hopes this helps. JJ

I was at a show last week and saw the Lake Master maps for Lake Erie. It was demonstrated on a Garmin GPS. It worked great and the detail was awesome. I'm not sure which other GPS systems it is compatible with at this time. If I was in the market for a GPS and the right software to pair with it, this would be the stuff I'd buy. It looked very user friendly. I'm sure I could make it work!
