Ressurection

I am trying to resurect an old humminbird fishfinder. its old, probibly came over on the Mayflower. But....it still works.
Just using it for Maumee River fishing so I don't ding up my prop.
Problem is......I have to splice the teansducer coaxial cabel.
Any suggestions.

Radio shack up my way splices coax, one in your neck of the woods should be able to also.

cut lay 'em back slide shrink tube up each end ,SLIDE ONE BIG PIEce of shrink tube back over the hole wire ,solder each wire slide small shrink over solder shrink tube on each one KNOW PPULLTHE BIG SHRINK OVER THE WHOLE THING AND SHRINK . it won/t leak done it a dozen times .jim
