what is the best way to get crankbait down 25 to50 feet in asmall lake where you dont have room to longline troll. thanx guys keep y your line tite walleyeguy

A 3-way with 3 or more ounces of lead will get them down. Or snap weights. You can fish a crank on a 3-way very close to the boat and follow contours quickly also...

Downriggers are another alternative. For walleye though, you'd probably like a longer lead length of at least 50 ft. to get the crank away from the downrigger ball. This may not be what you can work with according to your original posting.
Leadcore with a deep diving crank is another possibility. Figure 5 ft. per color plus the depth the crank runs at that given length of line out.
