Ryan, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think we already got a Stizostedium Vitreum. I haven't seen him post lately but I do remember the Handle. Even if he hasn't registered the name you might think about something different. Please don't shoot the messenger.

Yeah, but are you still poor?

If there was a previous user with that name, he didn't register so now that Ryan has the name and is registered, I say who cares - have at it.

I thought somebody had that one already.

I agree with Schnauzer. If the other guy didn't feel the need to register on the site, it is his loss.

It was Chris Bahl, he went by Stizostedion Vitreum Man for a while and also by Team Stizo. Don't know if he registered either. Haven't seen any posts by him in a while. I'm sure he's lurking out there somehwere.

It'll be fine for a while until you switch to "Ryan the rich college graduate".

I don't think anyone has taken "farts-a-lot" or "Imaconvictedfellon"

:-)

Keep what you just registered with - there is no problem with that.

I just gotta ask - what was the internal conflict that made you change your name????? A line like that leaves us all dangling. Enquiring minds want to know.

If it's too personal to share, please ignore my post and accept my apologies.

'Studley Hungwell' has a good ring to it. But I suspect several guys will claim it as theirs already.

We can't be doubling up on Handle's around here, So maybe consider the scientfic name for the Sauger, or perhaps the most sought after gamefish of all...The Ell Pout

If you are worried about someone using your handle, maybe you should register it on the website. That way, it is your's and your's alone forever. If you choose not to register, you are choosing to risk that someone else will use your handle.

Hello Ryan,

This is the original Stizostedion vitreum man (and not Chris Bahl, as mentioned in a previous post). I have not been active on this website for awhile and I have opted to take a more passive role in these discussions and become more of a "silent observer". There are various reasons for this, which I will not go into at this time.

I have not registered on this site under this handle, since I decided I did not want to become a registered member at this time. If you would like to use it, feel free to do so. I will not feel insulted or take issue with your decision. As previously mentioned in another post, if you register under this handle on this site, it is then yours. Good luck to you whatever your decision may be.

Remember to keep your eyes open and your feet dry.

S.v.m

Can you tell it is mid March? 24 posts about Ryan the Poor College Kid's Walleye Central "handle". This is my third post on the subject so I'm as guilty as anyone. I wish I could go fishing. Anyway, I welcome you as Stizostedion vitreum or any other name you choose. I kinda liked your old handle but the new one sounds good too.

i've gotten some private massages saying that i was maybe offending some people. these were people that don't have much money (like me!). they said i was thinking about buying a loomis, which i never did, and that how could i be poor? i guess that's why i changed it. also, who takes a college kid seriously? not everyone.
also, i realized why no one else has this handle. it is a pain in the arse to log in under!!

T-Mac,
I had to let the tears clear from my eyes before I could respond. (laughing at myself). That was my best attempt at spelling pronounce without looking it up.

Man I wish spell check would work with the message board. At least people would have to meet me before they'd know how big an idiot I am.

Thanks, I needed that. COME ON SPRING!!!!

Ah, I see. Too bad, it was a decent handle. But, I see your point.

As for your new one, of you don't log out, or delete your cookies, you should stay logged in even if you turn your computer off. This will prevent you from having to log in each time. See Juls reply to Shellback's question to make sure your settings are right.

See if this helps, 'cuz spelling your new handle is no picnic.
