I have a x510c and an lms 522. The dealer prepped my boat with the lms 522 and i installed the x510c. I just used the same transducer for the 510 and used the lms for chartplotter/gps. I've tested both units in sonar mode and both units freeze up at high speeds and at slow speeds they will show the bottom. Also both units will freeze up and flash the depth when drifting or slow trolling but will show depth after a few secounds of flashing. Is my ducer not working or is it mounted in the wrong place. I can hear clicking on the ducer. Also, it is mounted pretty close to the motor. If i have a fishing partner and we both fish in the middle part of the boat if one of us move's and the boat shifts the screen will freeze for a secound or two and then work again. I'm not new to lowrance products but i could use some help with this before i make any bad decitions. I ordered a plastic transducer mounting plate from cabellas and plan on moveing my ducer away from my motor and starting over. Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks in advance !!! B.jay
