hey quick question:
does the transducer mount on the transom or is it completely different with side imaging

The transducer does mount on the transom. There other options on transducer. We have a Thru-Hull transducer also. 98% mounts the transducer on the transom. They will mount the side imaging transducer under the jack plate. And then epoxy a 2D transducer in the hull for high speed reading and use a Y cable to tie the side imaging and the 2D transducer together.

Some Bass & Musky pro's have it also on their Bow Electric trolling unit too.
