Maxxum 55 Transom mount shutting off on off on continuously when in full forward speed ? Any Ideas ? Thanks.

Check the size of your circuit breaker. That motor will draw 56 amps at full power, I'll bet the original breaker you have is only a 40 or 50 amp rated unit. They tend to be automatic-reset types, so once the breaker resets, the power comes back on.

Also check the wire connections. My 55# AP had an issue where the AP kept shutting off. I traced it to a poor crimp connection between the trolling motor power plug and the wires going to the PD. New crimp connections and it now runs flawlessly.
