One year ago, I put a post up that mentioned my brother, also my fishing partner, and his wife had just had a premature baby. The baby was 12 inches long and 1 lb 8 ounces when born and things were not looking good. Anyway, many of you put up replies with your best wishes and prayers. Well, today, she weighs about sixteen pounds and is a very healthy child. I want to thank you all on behalf of my brother and his wife, and myself. If it wasn't for people like you, things could have been a lot different. Thanks very much.

Hey Matt,
Glad to hear the baby is doing fine.
It is also nice to see how total strangers and friends alike rally behind a request for help or prayers. In a forum such as this it is extremely easy to ignore someone, and yet, it almost never happens.
I have seen that attitude of ignorance on several other message boards, but not at Walleye Central. My hat is off to you all.
Good luck........R

Thanks for all of your prayers and thoughts over the past year. I frequent many boards and chats and I have to say you folks are the most sincere and thoughtful of all. I can't wait to get my girls first GLoomis Snoopy pole! They do make them don't they?!
And thank you Bro.

. . . Sugar and spice and all things nice; this is the nicest news of all for you and your family. Blessings to you all. Lauren
Fantastic!!!!, Modern medicine and prayer are a powerful combination. Good luck and God bless.
No they don't Mike, but let me know and I'll be happy to make it for her. We may want something a little less delicate than a Loomis blank, but my sons still treasure the old glass rods I made for them almost 20 years ago. I have 5 kids and wonder how people deal with the kinds of problems you dealt with. God bless and give her a hug for me.
