Ready to rig different electronics on my 10 year old fiberglass boat with wood in the transom, do I install a new transom mounting board for a clean look or use the old one? My concern is if the screws willl tighten up on the new one or if I am going to have to upsize the screws? It appears the dealer that rigged this boat installed the original transducer mounting plate correctly so there should be no water intrusion in the transom. My point is "it ain't broke yet", but it might be when I am done with it.

I'd put the new transducer on the old mounting board and not worry about a "clean look". Mounting boards are used so you don't need to put more holes and screws in the transom. If you were going to change the mounting board when you changed transducers that would pretty much defeat the purpose of using a mounting board in the first place.
BTFRK,
Get some stainless steel flat head screws. Then, make a countersink hole in the locations of the former transducer. Install the screws, after putting rtv in the holes.
Then, drill new holes in the mounting board for the new transducer.
The flat head stainless steel screws plug the old holes but keep the surface flat. Then, install the new transducer in the appropriate location, using sealant in all mounting holes.
You will be good to go.
Take care

Good advice guys, I think I will leave the original board on and fill the old holes.

HAHAHAHA....Hope your installation goes well ..AND THANKS FOR MY NEW TAG LINE!!!
if you do decide on a new board for the clean look, just get one without the mounting holes already drilled in it so you can put it in the same holes or get the same brand with the same mounting hole pattern.
Personally I would probably use the old one as long as you have complete confidence in the dealer that mounted it.
