I used to fish for salmon with a guy on Lake Michigan who used bright green and bright yellow line on his reels. It was not mono, but I do not recall what it was. It was really nice because you could clearly see where your lines were going. Now that I am on this side of the state, I do all my trolling for walleyes on Erie. I was hoping to get some feedback whether this type of line would work well for walleye. I guess my concern is that walleye are so skittish, I did not know if the visible line would be a problem. I would run the visible line to a dipsy and run a 5-6 foot mono leader from the dipsy back. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
