Walleye Central’s “Reel’n in the Dough” Program Launched
EDEN PRAIRIE, MINN, March 1, 2002 – Walleye Central has launched the “Reel’n in the Dough” program for the upcoming 2002 Tournament season. Anglers participating in the PWT, RCL or MWC Walleye Circuits will have the opportunity to “reel in” a cash bonus if they meet the criteria provided by each sponsor.
Stepping into the “Reel’n in the Dough” boat and helping launch this exciting new program is Tempress Products/FISH-ON! and Bombardier Recreational Products, Boats and Outboard Engines Division. The whole idea behind this program is to give tournament anglers an “instant” gratification for purchasing the “correct” product to fish the tournament circuits.
Tempress, a family-owned and operated business, is a leading manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket boat components and accessories, including the original FISH-ON! rod holder.
Bombardier Recreational Products designs, develops, builds, distributes and markets the Evinrude and Johnsonoutboard marine engines and the Ficht Ram Injection technology.

“Reel’n in the Dough” with FISH-ON! Rod Holders
Participants in the PWT, RCL or MWC Walleye Circuits will have the opportunity to “reel in” a cash bonus if they meet the following eligibility requirement from Tempress/FISH-ON! :
The angler’s boat must be outfitted exclusively with Tempress/FISH-ON! rod holders for the duration of the tournament.
“Reel’n in the Dough” Cash Payout is as follows:
An Angler who finishes in 1st place and meets the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $250 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative of Walleye Central.
An Angler who finishes in 2nd place and meets the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $100 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative of Walleye Central.
An Angler who finishes in 3rd place and meets the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $50 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative of Walleye Central.
“Reel’n In the Dough” with Evinrude®-Johnson®Outboard Engines
All participants in the PWT, RCL and MWC must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the Evinrude®-Johnson® Outboard engine Reeling-In-Dough Cash Bonus:
· Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard motor must have been purchased new (new is defined as first purchaser/original owner). In addition, the purchase must have been from an authorized Evinrude/Johnson dealer.
· To qualify for the Reeling-In-Dough model year 2002 Cash Bonus, the Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard motor angler must be using a model year 2002 or 2003 Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard engine.
· Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard motor must have been purchased and registered prior to fishing in the PWT, RCL or MWC tournament.
· Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard motor must have current registration by the original owner.
· Evinrude® Ficht Injection or Johnson® outboard motor may not exceed the horsepower rating for the boat in use.
Angler fishing in a PWT, RCL or MWC tournament must fish the full length of the tournament (all days) in the same boat with the same engine.
Reeling-In-Dough Cash Payout is as follows:
Angler who finishes in 1st place meeting the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $500 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative of Walleye Central
Angler who finishes in 2nd place meeting the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $250 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative Walleye Central.
Angler who finishes in 3rd place meeting the above criteria at any PWT, RCL or MWC tournament will receive $100 cash on the spot paid by Sonja Pinkert or a representative Walleye Central.
Bombardier Recreation Products, Boats and Outboard engines division will make final decision in determining participant's eligibility for the cash bonus payment, as well as the validity of any claims under this program.
