Anyone see those new Lucky Craft lures in the stores. Dagnabbit, they sure look fine. I am wondering if the fish do too? I am also wondering if I might want to shoot myself in the head for buying a $15.00 lure the first time a pike bites one off? So, what's your experience been?

I too felt that it was a very good looking bait. The shape, color, rattles, etc., just looked to good not to try some. I bought some Pointer 100SP, Flashminnow 110SP, and some Staysee 90 SP, to start with. I have access to buying wholesale which helped a little, they averaged $9.40 ea. still a little high but better than the $14.95 they want for reail. If you have a friend that owns a tackle, bait shop, have them order them for you. I haven't had the chance to try any yet, but when I do I'll post some info. on WC.

Last summer I compared a regular husky jerk with one of those premium yo zuri baits. Both caught fish. I don't think walleyes are super picky about hyper-relistic looking stuff.
