Had the unit for about 6 months and it started to the following things. Started flashing on and off. Sometime it would work but then it would go out and not come back on. Then it would come on without pushing the power button. Sent unit back to lowrance and they sent me a new one(had to pay the repair fee because I bought unit used) Now about a year later the new unit is doing the same thing. Am I doing somthing wrong? Is this a typical problem with these units? All my power connections for the unit are fuse protected and I always unplug power to units when not in use. I dont want to fork over the money to get this unit repaired if it does the same thing after a year of use. Thanks

If your fuse folder is like the original provided by Lowrance (in-line glass cartridge fuse), try this.
Turn the unit on, then jiggle the in-line fuse holder. If yours is like mine, the unit will shut off because jiggling the fuse holder breaks the connection to power. I replaced my fuse holder with the type that uses plug-in plastic-body fuses like the newer cars and eliminated the random shut-off problem.
Otherwise, check the voltage readout on the 332. Make sure it's seeing more than 10 volts all the time, ideally, 12.0 or higher.

I have a power cord on the bow,and one on the back. I have tried it in both locations. Does same thing in both loctions. My x-15 works great in both locations with good voltage readings. I have a bad feeling unit is smoked again. I am calling lowrance on monday to see if they will still fix or replace this unit for a reasonable price. If they can I will offer it for sale and buy a newer unit more compatiable with my new x27. Thanks
