Non-Canadian resident fishing licences are available by calling the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources at 1-800-667-1940.

If you order your fishing license via the phone you will receive a temporary Outdoorsman Card as well. You may pay with Visa or MasterCard.

I ordered mine, the whole process took less than 5 minutes.

I received my license and Outdoorsman’s Card (paper temporary) 10 business days later.

there are also a couple baitshops on the MI side that will get them for you in a week or less... they charge a small fee in addition to the license cost, but keeps you from running over there, etc.

anyways, two that i can think of is lakeside fishing shop in st. clair shores, and bottom line down near lake erie metro park.

conservation only allows you 2-3 fish of a given speicies where the other gives you the full limit
