Just want to give a big pat on the back to Steve Skupien and family on their 1st place finish in the AYA tournament held yesterday on the Illinois River at Hennepin, IL.

Also, a big thanks to the AYA staff, Bob Kidd and all of the volunteers that helped everyone have a great time.

OK, I'll admit the kids and I threw the towel in early, based on the rain and the wind, but you're right, hat's off to Rich Casey, Bob Kidd and all of the staff for the great time we had at the event. Man, that valet launch/retrieve is somthing a guy could get used to pretty quick!

This was my 3rd event with the grandson. What a BLAST. Top notch job by Bob and Rich. But lets not forget there familys and all the rest of the volenteers. Without them it dont happen. Jack (6yr) caught his first sauger, it was a keeper. PRICELESS!!!!! I even had him do a Jimmy Houston kiss on it. PRICLESS#2. It is the tourney I really look foward to every year. Nice job Skups, I was right on your tail,hehehe

Good job Steve. It sure is great to have good friends to put you on fish! I'm surprised you won without Dave in the boat with you. LOL

I was thinking a little celebration is in order. How about you bring the boys up and I will take them out on the town. I know this little "sports bar" in Marinette/Menomonie area that we could go to, since the kid has a little spending money in his bank account. I think he really enjoyed himself last time. LMAO

I'll buy the first round.
