I am curious if anyone is running their motor in the lowest postion? I lowered my motor from the middle hole to the second hole. I actually picked up speed and rpm's. I am guessing becauce of bow lift. I am running a tempest plus prop on an aluminum boat. My boat seems to lose alot of speed when loaded.

Sounds like you have alot of prop slip causing the speed loss. What are you running and what are your #s?

I am running a 24" tempest plus on a Suzuki df150. I am hiting 6000 rpm's.
