Madeye Shad 25

Finally got to try my Madeye's. The Lollipop runs straight as an arrow but the fire tiger wants to blow out to the right from the get go.
How do I correct this? Do NOT want to ruin this lure...no what I mean?

You'll have to bend the copper eye on the spoon to the left or right depending on which way it's running. I believe you bend it toward the way you want it to go, but I could be wrong. I've messed with my two Madeyes enough and I've only had them for a little bit. I've caught fish on them at least once on every trip.

My only complaint with the lure so far is that the split ring is attached to the spoon by that copper hoop. Any snag I've caught or fish that are big enough will cause it to run to one side. I wish they'd have used a harder metal for that piece.

This is probaly a dumb question but I haven't fished cranks a whole lot how do you tell if they are out of tune?

The bait will not track true.... it will dart to one side or the other, or blow out as said above. always bend the eye of the bait the way you want it to go
