lowrance warranty registration question

Anyone know why the lowrance.com refuses to recognize my serial number for warranty registration purposes ? I've created myself an account and I've got the serial number off the sticker on the back of the LCX27c unit ? When I try to enter it , all I get is serial number not recognized.

Check to see if the s-number match's the serial number on the box. For some reason you may have omitted a digit or series letter, something simple like that.

Also you may not need to use symbols or spaces, just use letters and numbers with no breaks in the series. See if that works?

I would call in to Customer Service and see if they can register it for you or figure it out.

I purchased another unit a few weeks ago, and I also could not register it. I called customer service and they asked me to fax the information to them and they registered it. It seems they have a software problem with their new registration page.
