We have one of our members (Perch Princess) at the Wave Wackers.
Yea!

So, she is sending photos and will get the results to me as quick as she can after the event is over.

We won't have "live" coverage but we'll get you some photos and results.

Something is better than nothing.

Here are Day 1 Results

I can't believe this is how they are sent out, they are not sorted by weight so you can't tell who is in what place?????

I'll either get them typed up so we can sort them or hopefully they will come up with the right stuff.

Weird......really weird

And thanks to Perch Princess we have some real results, she took the time and effort to re-type so we could sort and see who is in what place.
These results will make more sense ;-)

This used to be a terrific event with huge fields and huge payouts. The economy has obviously affected it, but I thing it is really a bummer that it is more of a lottery now than a test of skill. One fish "over" the slot, and you probably win. Something really bothers me about that. Maybe that's just me, but it seems like a shame that it's a crap shoot instead of a contest. I wonder how much that has effected the turnout.

The gamble slot events and no culling (as on Mille Lacs) is too much these days. I fished most of the Wacker event over the years and like many others, caught countless 24"-27 7/8" fish and weighed 1/3 the weight the winners had--with one over 28". Skill or luck?

If the Wavwacker was using the CRR format, most teams would have weighed at least 20lbs. or more yesterday. The leader would probably have weighed 35lbs. yesterday.

Fish_On is right on! It just ain't right. Is it time to change?

That's why you should all support AIM. It's the future and it's awesome. It truely shows who can catch the biggest fish.
