evening walleye w. basin lake erie islands

I plan to be fishing Saturday evening out of Catawba. Say 3 hours before sunset. Where should I go and what should I try? I really prefer drifting but can troll if there is no drift. Any suggestion are appreciated. The evening seems like it should be an ideal time to fish, but I see very few boats fishing on the lake in the evening. Obviously, the charters and day trippers want to spend a more thatn a couple hours, so they start in the morning. I dock at Gem Beach.
