This year I am planning on running
more harnesses. Key word is planning as I usually run cranks. At least see if I can learn to be better at
using them. I have NEVER had much luck on them mostly because I probably ever
know for sure how deep the thing is using snaps. For some reason I never gained
the confidence to be able to say " I am at this certain debth". I know get the book, I got it but I feel that only gets you close. I have tied up
several harnesses. Some with 2 hooks with the end being a treble and some
single hooks using a squid in different colors. Wondering what kind and size of
spinner blade you use for different debths and why?? There are a lot of different kinds now out there. Each has its place I am sure, but how? I have always heard that
when in deeper water use the biggest blade you have. There are so many blades
out there now. I tried the smilie blades with no luck. Anyone tried them? So lets
see how many of you have some answers to this. Am sure everyone does it a bit
different.
