My buddy ran into this problem, the Canadian officials in their fancy Crestliners actually confiscated their boats until they bought a canadian license! I wouldnt risk it!

If you have fish, will be charged per each without a license. They take it very seriously.

Better off just giving in and buying a license. Not worth risking getting caught and getting banned from fishing Canada lakes.

They put you in one of their gill nets and drag you around until you promise to buy one and then they take your house, car, boat and cigarettes.
